My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence‑based psychiatric care that honors each person’s story and supports their path toward stability, healing, and long‑term well‑being. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
I grew up as an Air Force military brat, spending my childhood in Holland, Nebraska, and Arizona before my dad transitioned to the Air Guard and brought our family back home to Montana. All that moving taught me adaptability, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the many ways people build resilience.
My healthcare journey started at the bedside as a CNA. From there, I earned my Associate’s and Bachelor’s in Nursing and eventually completed my PMHNP at Chamberlain University after fifteen years as a nurse. Over the years, I’ve built a wide and meaningful foundation—long‑term care, home health and hospice, corrections, medical‑surgical care, abdominal transplant IMC, surgical trauma, pre‑op, and regulatory work as a CMS site surveyor for the State of Montana.
Before the pandemic, I worked as a travel nurse, which allowed me to experience new communities and clinical environments. That chapter ultimately brought me to Colorado, where I fell in love with both the landscape and the sense of community.
I also live with my own chronic health conditions, which has given me a grounded, firsthand understanding of how complex healthcare can be and what patients truly need from their providers. That experience shapes the way I practice with empathy, honesty, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.
I’m especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and our veterans. Today, I offer medication management and individual therapy with a trauma‑informed, patient‑centered approach designed to help people feel safe, understood, and supported as they work toward healing.
